We guide clients through the franchise discovery and due diligence process, matching them with opportunities that align with their goals, financial profile, and lifestyle.

Our approach goes beyond brand selection. No.
Brokers represent franchisors and earn commissions when buyers purchase franchises. This is the model described in the broker FAQs and the “no-cost consultant” language FAQ—Frannet.

EKS does not sell franchise units or steer clients toward any brand.
EKS is a franchise development and advisory firm dedicated solely to the franchisee.

**NOTE:** EKS may earn referral fees or placement fees resulting from certain franchise placements, but these will be fully disclosed to all clientele whenever the issue arises.

A franchise is a legal and commercial relationship where a business owner (franchisor) licenses their brand, operating system, and support model to franchisees in exchange for initial and ongoing fees.
Business-format franchising—complete operational replication—is the most common structure

Purchase costs for a franchise vary greatly. There are many home-based options requiring less than $50,000 in upfront capital, whereas a national hotel or popular fast food location might cost several millions of dollars. Contact us to learn more about all of your options.

If you are interested in franchising your existing business you probably already know that costs vary depending on:

  • legal documents
  • operations manual depth
  • training systems
  • construction or site complexity
  • marketing assets

In other words, the maturity of your business and the (non)existence of duplicatable systems significantly impacts your establishment costs. However, these costs tisll tend to be less then the costs of opening up additional location(s).

EKS has the experience and knowledge to guide aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced operators through thtis complex process. Contact EKS to discuss your goals.

Risks include:

  • selling franchises before systems are ready
  • lack of operational consistency
  • poor unit economics
  • inadequate training/support
  • franchisor legal liability under FTC Rule 436

EKS mitigates risk through AI-driven modeling, pre-construction planning, operational engineering, and compliance oversight.

Typical support includes:

  • onboarding & training
  • site selection assistance
  • operations manuals
  • performance monitoring
  • marketing support

EKS exists to help you build these systems and success strategies, to mitigate risk and significantly increase success probabilities.

A franchisor is responsible for providing ongoing support that enables franchisees to operate consistently, protect the brand, and remain competitive over time. While the specific level of support varies by brand, effective franchisors typically provide:

  • Initial and ongoing training, including updates as systems, products, or regulations change
  • Operations manuals and standardized procedures to ensure consistency across locations
  • Marketing support, such as brand standards, national or regional campaigns, and approved marketing materials
  • Technology systems, including POS, reporting, and performance tracking tools
  • Operational guidance and field support to help franchisees address challenges and improve performance
  • Brand oversight and quality control to maintain standards and protect the franchise system
  • Ongoing communication, updates, and access to support teams or resources

Strong franchisors view their role as a long-term partnership, investing in systems, training, and support that help franchisees succeed—not just at opening, but throughout the life of the business.

Broker networks reduce risk for the franchisor by pre-qualifying buyers and managing leads.
EKS reduces your risk by:

  • validating unit economics
  • analyzing construction cost & timeline risks
  • modeling financial scenarios via AI
  • building robust launch systems
  • ensuring legal compliance
  • designing airtight operations
  • avoiding premature franchise sales

  • Founder-to-founder advisory (not junior staff)
  • AI-driven modeling
  • Land + pre-construction + scheduling + cost expertise
  • ESOP + succession planning integration
  • Private-equity-grade brand engineering
  • Deep construction and blue-collar services specialty
